About the role
The Strategic Partnerships & Philanthropy Manager is responsible for growing and strengthening cohealth's philanthropic income through the development of meaningful, values-aligned relationships with major donors, philanthropic trusts and foundations, and corporate partners.
The role leads the evolution and delivery of cohealth's relationship fundraising strategy, focusing on building long-term partnerships that advance cohealth's purpose — improving health and wellbeing for all and addressing inequity.

- Build and nurture strategic partnerships across government, community, corporate, and health sectors
- Drive donor engagement and philanthropic opportunities to support cohealth's mission
- Align partnerships with organisational goals and deliver measurable outcomes
- Represent cohealth at forums, conferences, and key stakeholder meetings

- Tertiary qualification in business, health, public policy, or a related field
- Demonstrated success (3 + years' experience) in identifying, securing and managing strategic partnerships, grants, fundraising and philanthropic funding within not-for-profit, healthcare, or community service sectors
- Exceptional relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute complex funding and partnership strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing and presentations, and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in the establishment and/or management of relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Experience in establishing or growing greenfield fundraising and philanthropy initiatives is highly desirable
- Existing established relationships with donors and strategic partners within the not-for-profit sector is highly desirable
