How You Can Make a Difference
We're looking for a Philanthropy Specialist to join our National Philanthropy team. Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, you'll manage a portfolio of high-value donors and prospects, building meaningful, long-term relationships that result in transformational gifts. This is a hands-on role where you'll craft compelling cases for support, identify new opportunities, and engage with Australia's leading philanthropists to create real impact.
You will have to opportunity to work flexibly, blending your time between home and our office. This role can be either Sydney or Melbourne based.
What You'll Be Doing
- Grow major gift revenue through strategic relationship management
- Inspire and steward donors through the giving journey
- Research and qualify prospects, developing strong donor pipelines
- Develop tailored proposals aligned with donor passions
- Collaborate with senior leaders and colleagues across fundraising, health and marketing
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated success securing major gifts or high-value partnerships ($50k+)
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
- Confidence in "making the ask" and guiding donors on their journey
- Knowledge of the philanthropy landscape, HNWI, and foundations
- Experience with CRM systems and donor research
