About the role
- Help bring improvement programs to life from concept to execution.
- Influence senior stakeholders within Supply Chain, SC partners, and other business functions.

Our Supply Chain is a critical element in bringing our vision to life with a strong focus on Continuous Improvement and the continued modernisation of our vast network.
Supporting the Officeworks' Supply Chain team, this key role will identify continuous improvement opportunities by creating and maintain standardised processes for alignment and consistency.
Driving and delivering optimal solutions for current and future networks and the implementation of policies, procedures and processes within Supply Chain this exciting opportunity will facilitate process improvement projects and training workshops to drive business outcomes and cultural change.
Providing reporting and analytics support for continuous improvement opportunities this will be an exciting opportunity to become a subject matter expert in relation to continuous improvement within Officeworks.
Key areas of focus will include:
- Lead at site level, value stream mapping and Kaizen events to eliminate waste, reduce complexity, and improve process flow.
- Monitor and manage site-wide 5S programs, ensuring consistent application of standards across all operational areas.
- Create a scheduled audit and review program for processes and initiatives implemented.
- Monitor and report the progress of CI activities throughout project implementation
- Assist in developing and leading CI initiatives and programs for voice of floor.
- Maintain and improve analytical tools for the continuous improvement program
- Maintain a CI KPI management dashboard for Supply Chain
- Help facilitate change management and CI for all Supply Chain sites
About you
Your Business or Supply Chain qualifications will include Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean or Six Sigma). Engineering or Information Systems disciplines would be highly desirable. A minimum of 3 years Supply Chain and/or Logistics experience supporting and delivering Continuous Improvement with a focus on Program Development & Delivery, Initiatives Planning & Execution and advanced Stakeholder Engagement will be valued.
Process mapping and documentation writing experience plus a background in bringing programs of work to life from concept to delivery within a medium to large retail, logistics or manufacturing organisation will be key to success in this exciting new role. A natural communicator, you enjoy engaging with stakeholders and can demonstrate solid experience in delivering workshops to develop business processes and gather requirements.
Highly organised, you take pride in your attention to detail, meeting deadlines and ability to think ahead and plan proactively. You enjoy the challenges of working within a dynamic and fast paced environment and can demonstrate a Continuous Improvement mindset.
Using a variety of systems in this role will require competency with SAP, MS Suite – MS Excel, basic SQL, Power BI. Experience with Project Management tools such as Microsoft Planner and Microsoft Project will be highly regarded.
