Overview

Responsibilities

- You will provide timely, efficient and effective catering and cleaning services for the Eudunda and Kapunda hospitals.
- Cross-departmental experience (Kitchen, Cleaning & Laundry) working in an aged care or health environment (preferred).
- Demonstrate a high level of empathy and compassion with a person-centred approach and work as part of a team.

Qualifications and Experience

- Cross-departmental experience (Kitchen, Cleaning & Laundry) in an aged care or health environment.
- Food handling experience (food handling certificates are a bonus).
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, be reliable and hardworking.
- Availability to work a 7 day rotating roster (including weekends).

Salary

Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, Eudunda Hospital and Kapunda Hospital – WHA2 $28.53 - $28.82 per hour + 25% casual loading - Casual, working over a 7 day roster.

Other Information

- Immunisation risk for this position is Category A (Direct Contact with blood or body substances).
- Check(s): DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC); National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups (e.g., aged care).
- Flexible working arrangements for this role may be discussed. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are encouraged to apply.
- Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
