We're seeking a positive, reliable and experienced Mandarin speaking legal administrator to join our friendly and supportive team.

About the role

In this role, you will assist our team with:

  • Preparing documentation and correspondence.
  • Liaising with bilingual clients.
  • Preparing monthly billing.
  • Digital dictation and general typing duties.
  • Managing calendars and scheduling appointments.
  • Translation (from English to Chinese and from Chinese to English).
  • Filing and other general administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Providing coverage for reception as needed.
  • Assisting with setting up and attending networking and marketing events as needed.

Essential skills and experience

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Have current experience working in a legal practice.
  • Be proficient in written & spoken Mandarin and English. The ability to speak additional languages (e.g. Cantonese) will be highly regarded.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work and learn various processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with producing written material.
  • A proactive and positive attitude and approach.
  • Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (especially Word and Excel).
