Administration & Operations Manager

Location: Campbellfield, Australia. Sector: Admin & Secretarial. Salary: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per annum.

The Administration & Operations Manager role is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing daily office operations, managing administrative functions, and optimizing processes to enhance team efficiency. This full-time role involves coordinating schedules, supporting senior management, and ensuring seamless communication across departments to maintain a productive work environment.

Task and responsibilities:

- Oversee daily office operations and ensure smooth workflow across departments.
- Develop and implement administrative procedures to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Plan and manage daily service operations across multiple service contracts.
- Prepare budgets and tenders, monitor expenditure to maintain profitability and cost efficiency.
- Lead staff recruitment, training, rostering, and performance management to ensure compliance with service standards.
- Facilitate effective communication between departments to support business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and client satisfaction.
- Liaise with clients, government agencies, and contractors to sell/promote services, negotiate service agreements, and resolve operational issues.
- Oversee workplace health & safety, quality standards (ISO), and compliance programs.

Qualification and experience:

- Diploma (or higher) in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in an administrative or operations management role.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to process improvement.
