"Grow your HR career in a team that values collaboration and innovation" We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Human Resources team as a Human Resources Support Officer. In this role, you will play a key part in providing administrative and customer service support to the HR team, ensuring smooth delivery of people‑related services across Council. This role helps create a positive experience for employees and supports effective HR operations. Key responsibilities of the position include: - Provide efficient and high‑quality administrative and customer service support to the Human Resources team. - Maintain accurate employee records and ensure adherence to Council policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. - Support recruitment activities, including interview coordination, system updates and candidate communication. - Prepare employee correspondence, exercise discretion and confidentiality, and contribute to HR initiatives and projects as required. - Ability to use of contemporary digital technology, software, applications and records. management tools. The successful applicant will have: - Excellent ability to collaborate with others to support team goals - Interpersonal skills that build good work relationships - Ability to show initiative and be proactive in finding improved ways to accomplish work - Personal effectiveness through being organised, reliable and self‑aware - Effective time management and ability to balance multiple tasks - Experience with providing administrative and customer service support.
