University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking a Medical Secretary/MDT Co-ordinator.

Job Details

This vacancy is open to internal employees of the following organisations within the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care System: North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust, Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board.

Key Responsibilities

The post holder will provide administrative support to a specialty team, including managing appointment and admission related information, typing correspondence, and communicating with patients and carers.

The ideal candidate will have experience of administration duties, dealing with members of the public, and using software packages such as Microsoft Office.

- Clinical typing experience
- Understanding of clinics and appointments

Person Specification

- NVQ level 2, OCR 2 or equivalent
- Reasonable standard of GSCE A-C (4-9) or equivalent
- Secretarial/clerical background
- Knowledge of Microsoft office package including: Microsoft word and outlook
- NHS Experience

The salary for this role is £24,937 to £26,598 per annum, pro rata.
