What You’ll Be Doing

As a Medical Secretary, you’ll be the welcoming face and organisational backbone of our centre, supporting a dedicated Medical Oncologist. Your responsibilities will include:

- Greeting patients and managing personal details

- Scheduling appointments and coordinating consulting rooms

- Handling phone enquiries with empathy and professionalism

- Processing billing (Medicare, Private Health, DVA)

- Ensuring smooth administrative care pathways for patients

- Maintaining accurate patient records

- Supporting workplace health and safety initiatives

- Living and promoting Icon’s values every day

What We’re Looking For

- Experience in a medical/surgical specialist setting

- Knowledge of Medicare, DVA, and Private Health billing

- Strong organisational and communication skills

- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and medical terminology

- A passion for delivering outstanding service
