Opportunity: Fixed-term full-time until 30 June 2026.

Reports To: Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role in driving Aveo’s strategic financial analysis, business planning, forecasting, and reporting. In this role, you will deliver high-quality financial and commercial insights that inform critical business decisions, enhance performance, and support long-term growth. You’ll take ownership of cash flow forecasting models, contribute to both BAU and strategic reporting cycles throughout H1 2026, and partner closely with finance leaders to provide actionable insights that shape Aveo’s financial strategy.

Your Impact

- Maintain, update, and enhance the group cash flow model

- Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses on business targets, initiatives, and debt covenants

- Model strategic opportunities and M&A scenarios to support strategic decision-making

- Analyse retirement village cash yields, unit pricing sensitivities, and investment return impacts

- Manage the Group’s short-term liquidity forecast and reporting

- Prepare and review monthly liquidity and bank reports, quarterly activity reports, and risk & covenant compliance certificates

- Support the FP&A team in delivering management and investor reporting

- Analyse forecast versus actual variances and recommend adjustments to improve accuracy

- Build strong relationships with business leaders, providing actionable financial and commercial insights

What you'll bring

- Degree in Business, Commerce, or related discipline

- Demonstrated experience in financial modelling and analysis

- Proven ability to manage and maintain complex financial models in Excel

- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data

- Curiosity and problem-solving mindset

- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with IFRS concepts

- Ability to communicate financial insights clearly and effectively

- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities
