Are you a night owl who thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment? At Holiday Inn Express Brisbane Central, we’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and guest-focused Assistant Night Manager to support our overnight operations and ensure our guests enjoy a smooth and secure stay.

About the Role

As the Assistant Night Manager, you’ll play a dual role, assisting with Night Audit duties and stepping into the Night Manager role as needed. You'll be responsible for hotel operations during the night shift, including guest services, auditing financials, and ensuring safety and compliance. This role is essential to our nightly operations and directly impacts both guest experience and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Support overnight hotel operations, stepping in as Night Manager during rostered days off.
- Complete accurate and timely night audit processes, reconciling daily revenue.
- Maintain hotel security and act as the main point of contact for guests during overnight hours.
- Monitor and report any financial discrepancies and process all relevant audit tasks.
- Provide exceptional guest service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in supervising overnight team members and ensuring standards are maintained.
- Prepare daily financial and operational reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards, WHS protocols, and emergency procedures.

What We’re Looking For

- Previous hotel experience in front office or night audit roles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in financial reconciliation and reporting.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to work independently overnight and handle emergency situations.
- A team player who upholds IHG’s core service values, Be Ready, Be Engaging, Be On It.
- Availability for overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
