About Us
Armadillo is a truly sustainable company - for the good of the world we live in and all who journey with us. Our rugs lie lightly on this earth.
Founded in 2009 we are an Australian-born company, with showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Dallas.
Our rugs are handcrafted by artisans in India and Nepal using natural materials and energy-efficient processes, designed to counteract today's throwaway culture and stand the test of time. As a certified B Corp, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of sustainability, social responsibility and transparency.
About the role
We are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of our APAC marketing strategy. Reporting to the Global Head of Marketing, you will partner with local teams to deliver on brand and sales objectives, driving growth and impact across all markets in the region.
This is a hands-on, strategic role that requires someone who can balance big-picture thinking with operational execution. You’ll get to influence every facet of marketing, including trade, digital, PR, events, CRM, and performance marketing, while also strengthening the APAC marketing function.
- Collaborate closely with the Global Head of Marketing to execute the APAC marketing strategy.
- Contribute local insights to inform strategy, campaign planning, and execution.
- Manage and monitor the regional marketing budget.
- Work cross-functionally across advertising, digital, performance marketing, social, events, activations, PR, EDM, and journal.
- Lead and manage events, showroom activations, and visual merchandising planning.
- Partner with Sales leads on tactical initiatives, campaigns, and sales tools.
- Support product launch strategy and execution across the region.
- Manage agency partners alongside the digital lead.
- Partner with the Head of eCommerce to optimise website visuals, communications, and user experience for the AU region.
- Develop and execute the APAC CRM strategy in support of business objectives.
- Build and nurture relationships with key press, media, and design community stakeholders.
- Analyse marketing campaign effectiveness and provide actionable insights.
- Champion social and environmental initiatives, ensuring the team contributes to purpose-driven goals.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a marketing role within interior design, lifestyle, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of trade marketing and B2B/B2C marketing execution.
- Proven ability to execute 360-degree marketing campaigns including digital, CRM, and PR.
- Proven track record in nurturing strong media and industry relationships that drive visibility and brand impact.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills – able to pitch stories, attend events, and maintain strong media relationships.
- Experience with Klaviyo, Sanity, and digital marketing platforms.
- Strong analytical skills, able to use marketing data to drive strategy and decision-making.
- Collaborative, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel interstate and internationally as required.
Our people have made Armadillo the brand it is today and as such, we have created a supportive and stimulating environment that nurtures the personal and professional growth of employees at all levels. We embrace fair workplace practices, equal employment opportunity, cultural diversity, and health and wellbeing.
If you are looking for the opportunity to evolve your career with a successful global and ethical business, we encourage you to apply now. Please submit your application via LinkedIn or send queries to cdrogat@partaletalent.com.au.
