As part of APEM Group, Biosis specialises in Aboriginal archaeology, botany, environmental approvals, GIS, historical archaeology, historical heritage, and zoology.
Since 1983, Biosis has guided clients in making informed decisions about ecology, heritage, and environmental approvals. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and dedicated team where you can make a genuine impact on our operations and support the efficient delivery of environmental and heritage consulting projects across Australia.
About the Role

We are seeking a Management Assistant to join our team on a 12-month contract, with strong potential to transition into a permanent role in either our Melbourne or Sydney office. You will report to the General Manager and play a critical role in supporting leadership, coordinating administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Oversee workflow processes, team communications, and general administrative tasks.
- Compile reports, track actions, and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
- Support project coordination and ensure key actions are completed on time.
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in gathering, analysing, and presenting data to support decision-making.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of experience in executive or administrative support roles.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and the ability to work independently, often navigating ambiguity to find solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with data analytics tools is a plus.
- You must have the right to work in Australia to apply for this job.
- Flexibility to travel if necessary.
