Our client is a design-led Australian interiors brand with a reputation for creativity, quality and growth. Their Fitzroy showroom is the flagship — the original and busiest location — and they are seeking an experienced Showroom Manager to lead the team, drive sales performance and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

The Opportunity

This is a high-profile leadership role where you'll take ownership of a thriving showroom. You'll be hands-on in leading a small but energetic team, setting daily rhythms, coaching performance, and ensuring the space always inspires.

The role reports to the National Retail Manager and Directors, giving you exposure to strategic discussions as well as day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, motivate and develop the showroom team through coaching and clear direction.
- Drive sales results, especially across peak weekend trading, while maintaining exceptional service.
- Oversee all showroom operations including stock, cash handling, reporting, and follow-ups.
- Manage customer relationships with homeowners, architects, designers, and trade professionals.
- Keep displays fresh and aligned to product launches and seasonal stories.

About You

- Experienced in leading sales teams within interiors, furnishings, building/renovation, or premium consultative retail.
- Strong people leader who balances commercial outcomes with genuine care for team members.
- Confident engaging with a diverse customer base - from trades to high-end design professionals.
- Emotionally intelligent, resilient, and motivated to contribute to a growing, creative business.
