This design-led business partners with Australia's top architects and designers to supply sustainable, high-quality materials for exceptional residential and commercial projects. With a strong presence in the A&D industry and a reputation for craftsmanship, detail, and thoughtful design, they're seeking an experienced Showroom Manager to lead their Melbourne showroom experience.
This part-time role (3 days per week, flexible hours) is perfect for someone with an architectural or design background who values work-life balance while staying connected to the industry they're passionate about. You'll support the full-time Project & Sales Manager while taking ownership of the showroom experience and client engagement.
This is an ideal opportunity for a well-presented professional seeking flexibility around family commitments, with genuine potential for growth into a full-time role as the business expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day showroom operations and presentation standards
- Host showroom visits and present product ranges to architects, designers, and builders
- Coordinate and manage sample logistics and product displays
- Support client meetings and product presentations alongside the team
- Maintain showroom presentation and ensure premium brand standards
- Assist with technical product inquiries and specification support
- Coordinate showroom events and industry gatherings
- Support seamless customer experiences by liaising with internal teams
- Provide administrative support for project coordination when needed
Skills & Experience
- Background in Architecture, Interior Design, Building/Construction, or related A&D field preferred
- Alternative backgrounds considered: Tiling, Flooring, Ceramics, or other architectural product sectors
- Strong understanding of the A&D industry and construction processes
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills
- Well-presented professional appearance with attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Genuine interest in sustainable design and premium materials
- Comfortable working autonomously while supporting a team
