About the role

This is a unique opportunity for a Learning Initiative Advisor to build and implement the learning plan incorporating the latest modern adult learning techniques. This role will be required to support the Claims and Customer Service Transformation (CCT), an inflight Enterprise-wide strategic initiative that reimagines claims and customer service to be faster, simpler and more connected for our people and customers.

Working under the Momentum (scaled agile) delivery model, this role will join an already established Change Management team and support organisational change management activities required for the program.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be comfortable with ambiguity. You will need to be a quick tech learner, equally adept at liaising with technology teams and business teams. You will also have an engagement‑first mindset, building partnerships across learning teams, delivery and the wider business.

You will be accountable for the successful design and delivery of impactful learning solutions for CCT initiatives. This role ensures that learning solutions are innovative, user‑centric, and effectively support the adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working across the organisation.

For each CCT initiative, the Learning Initiative Advisor will complete a learning needs analysis, develop a learning plan and implement the plan in coordination with BAU learning teams. This role collaborates closely with CCT & Tribe stakeholders, subject matter experts, and change and communications teams to ensure learning is embedded as a key enabler of adoption and transformation success.

You will have strong expertise in using advanced training tools and methodologies in a corporate setting and successful track record of working on major projects. You will be working with a variety of stakeholders and need to collaborate with internal BAU teams and existing learning teams to drive the development of innovative learning experiences that align with the organisation’s goals and objectives.

What you’ll do

Develop and execute an innovative Learning Plan that incorporates modern learning techniques and digital adoption tools to enhance employee knowledge uplift.

Support adoption of new technologies, including AI and automation.

Collaborate with leadership in the business to align learning plans with the organisation's goals and priorities.

Identify the specific learning needs and skill gaps for impacted stakeholders and conduct assessments to determine the current competencies and required skills for successful role transition.

Project management of end‑to‑end learning delivery. This includes creating an engaging and effective learning curriculum including digital adoption tools, e‑learning modules, videos, simulations, instructor‑led sessions, courses, and workshops and on‑the‑job training. This role is a hybrid role – largely planning and engaging with existing BAU teams on learning delivery and will require hands‑on training delivery.

Ongoing stakeholder engagement to provide leaders, updates on the learning approach, progress of the learning journey and advising of any adjustments made to the learning approach. Engage with employees to gather feedback and address concerns.

About you

- Learning and Development experience (minimum 2 years)

- Instructional Design of blended learning solutions and design methodologies (desired)

- 2+ years working within technology driven transformations (desired)

- 2+ years working within Agile environments (desired)

- Experience with eLearning development tools such as Lectora, Captivate (desired)

Be a hands‑on doer, comfortable with crafting and implementing the learning journey for our people, with a focus on easy‑to‑digest and fast learning.

Expertise in using advanced learning tools and methodologies in a corporate setting.

Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, change‑driven environment.
