They are currently going through an exciting growth phase and are looking to secure a passionate and ambitious HR Advisor to join their friendly, supportive and down-to-earth HR team in the head office located on the North Shore. This full-time permanent position is a fantastic opportunity, supporting a national team and giving you great exposure to all facets of the HR function.

About the Role:
Reporting to a collaborative and engaging HR Leader, you’ll play a key role in delivering day-to-day HR operations and supporting employees throughout the full employment lifecycle. This is a hands-on, generalist role ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working closely with a collaborative team. You will become a trusted advisor, building relationships with key department managers, as well as playing a pivotal role in a number of exciting upcoming people and culture projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining HR records and employee files, including training records, HR forms and templates
- Supporting the end-to-end recruitment process
- Preparing employment contracts, letters, new employee packs, induction packs, and other HR documents and correspondence
- Managing the employee life-cycle activities including but not limited to: onboarding, induction, development, performance management, remuneration and offboarding.
- Providing high quality, accurate and timely HR advice and support to managers and employees
- Assisting with investigations and resolution of escalated grievances and performance issues.
- Administering the Reward and Recognition program as well as Employee Service Awards
- Maintaining the L&D calendar, training records, and organising training for compliance requirements (e.g. First Aid, White Cards)
- Generating HR reports and collating HR data to produce regular and ad-hoc HR metrics reporting, and complete compliance and Government-related reporting
- Co-ordinating the administration of Work Health and Safety matters and related activities
- Supporting the Human Resources Manager and playing an active role in the development and delivery of HR strategies, systems, initiatives and future projects

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in HR, with the support and guidance of a seasoned HR Manager, willing to invest in your development.

Your Profile:

To be successful in this role, you will be a passionate, energetic, and versatile HR professional with a strong desire to learn and develop your skills across all facets of the HR lifecycle.

You will have:

- Previous experience in a similar role, with solid HR coordination skills
- Tertiary HR qualifications (as a minimum Certificate IV)
- Exceptional communications skills and the ability to engage with, and influence stakeholders at all levels of business
- A pro-active and enthusiastic approach to your work and willingness to support your colleagues during peak periods
- Confidence to put forward ideas, and provide input into team meetings
- The ability to show initiative, roll your sleeves up, work independently and take ownership of your workload
