Job Description

POSITION : Retail Buyer

NUMBER OF POSITION : 1

TYPE : Full-time Permanent,

HOURS: 38 Hrs Per week

SALARY : $75K - $80K per annum

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyzesales data and stock levels to identify market trends and optimizeinventory management.

- Conductresearch on trade, manufacturer, and market insights to stay updated onchanging customer demands.

- Negotiatepurchase agreements, promotional deals, and supply arrangements withvendors to secure the best terms.

- Developand implement effective pricing, marketing, promotional, and productdisplay strategies.

- Collaboratewith management on long-term business planning and sales initiatives.

- Establishseasonal purchasing plans aligned with budgetary considerations andcustomer demand.

- Predictconsumer preferences and determine the appropriate quantity, style, andquality of products to procure.
- Inspect product samples received from the supplier and, when necessary,visit them for procurement.

Requirements

- AQFCertificate Diploma, advanced Diploma, or Associate Degree. two to three years of relevant experience to substitute the formal qualification..

- Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in the related field.

- Stronganalytical skills and ability to interpret market trends.

- Excellentnegotiation and communication skills.

- Experiencein retail buying, procurement, or a related field is highly regarded.
