We're seeking a seasoned Commercial Property Manager ready to take the reins of an impressive, diverse portfolio comprising of retail and commercial office tenancies.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a solid background in managing external property partners to showcase their strategic leadership and expertise in a dynamic environment.

In this pivotal role, you will act as the critical link between investment and property management taking charge of overseeing the external property management strategic and day-to-day management of the Retail/Commercial Property Management function. Your primary focus will be on maximising performance through sound strategic oversight and informed value driven decisions ultimately delivering strong financial results for all stakeholders.

The role:

  • Oversee Retail/Commercial Property Management functions (externally managed) in accordance with lease terms, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders in a representational role on behalf of the organisation.
  • Review property management reports (occupancy, rent collections, expenses)
  • Manage tenant issues efficiently to maintain high tenant retention and satisfaction.
  • Approve and monitor capital expenditure budgets and manage minor value-add initiatives
  • Prepare updates and regular reporting for internal stakeholders and/or investors on key performance metrics
  • Co-Lead discussions for upcoming lease expirations and renewal campaigns

What we are looking for in you:

We are seeking a strategic thinker with proven expertise in retail/commercial asset lifecycle management and strong financial acumen.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in understanding lease agreements, property legislation, and retail/commercial property dynamics. Have proven financial acumen and experience managing budgets and reporting.  Be an excellent communicator and have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships and be organised to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial property management, ideally across mixed-use or retail assets.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Property, Real Estate, Business, or a related discipline (preferred).
