Overview

The Opportunity

We are working with a well-established law firm in Melbourne's western suburbs that is seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal to join their personal injury team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to take on a client-facing role, supporting complex matters and playing a key part in helping clients achieve the best possible outcomes.

The Role

As Senior Paralegal, you will provide high-level legal support across a range of personal injury matters. This position offers the chance to manage files from start to finish while working closely with lawyers to ensure the smooth progression of cases.

Responsibilities

- Drafting legal correspondence, briefs, and other documents
- Assisting with the preparation of evidence for negotiation, mediation, and trial
- Managing case files to ensure deadlines are met and matters progress efficiently
- Liaising with clients in a professional and supportive manner, building rapport and managing expectations
- Supporting your legal team with negotiations and strategies to maximise outcomes

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Significant paralegal experience within personal injury law (essential) - 5+ years is a must
- Strong legal knowledge and procedural understanding
- Excellent drafting and file management skills
- A client-focused approach with the ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle competing priorities
