Up to $156,253 inclusive of base salary (range $90,177 – $137,861), leave loading and employer superannuation contribution. Base salary above the minimum may be offered depending on experience.

About the Campus

The Rivers Secondary College Kadina High Campus is part of a three‑campus system (Lismore High, Richmond River High). The campus hosts 240 students, 29 % of whom identify as Aboriginal. Our mission is to “work together to ensure every student is safe, supported and successful with a bright future.” We focus on wellbeing, restorative practice and fostering positive relationships within a vibrant learning community.

Selection Criteria

- Full approval to teach in NSW (unconditional).
- Approval to teach special education and/or experience teaching students with autism, behavioural difficulties, and emotional disturbances.
- Proven capacity to manage students with complex behaviour and support their social and emotional needs.
- Demonstrated ability to develop positive, inclusive learning environments and implement differentiated teaching practices and tailored learning programs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with students, staff, parents/carers, and external agencies.

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is required. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you must commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
