About us

CBH is a leader in the Australian grain industry and the country’s largest co-operative. Our work has meaning and is creating an exciting future – we’re delivering WA’s grain to the world. Our advanced logistics network stretches across the State, connecting the growers of WA with our people, and providing opportunities for career growth in different roles and locations.

Ready to make an impact on a global scale with a local company?

We are CBH. We are what you’re looking for.

The Role

CBH is seeking a motivated and proactive Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to support our Northern region. This full-time, permanent role will cover our Fertiliser portfolio from Perth through to Merredin, Geraldton, and surrounding areas.

Reporting to the Manager – Fertiliser Sales and Marketing, you’ll provide expert advice to farmers and regional BRMs on fertiliser sales, technical analysis, and nutrition.

With strong growth and a new granular and liquid UAN facility launched in 2023, it’s an exciting time to join our expanding Fertiliser team.

Location

Depending on your current location, this role will be based at our Perth Head Office or one of our regional locations in Northam, Merredin, or Geraldton. Regular regional travel is a key part of the role.

Responsibilities include

- Build and maintain trusted relationships with growers, internal stakeholders and other key industry groups

- Contribute to individual sales targets and collaborate with BRMs to achieve shared sales goals

- Support the execution of an area business plan to deliver sales growth and increase market share

- Act as a trusted advisor for CBH Fertiliser

- Perform product training and technical support functions for internal stakeholders

- Liaise with growers and internal stakeholders to facilitate the smooth execution of sales contracts

- Champion and represent the CBH Fertiliser brand

About you

- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Sales/Business Development or similar

- A background in agriculture, with hands‑on knowledge of crop inputs and fertiliser products

- Proven experience working directly with growers

- Excellent interpersonal skills, with confidence in negotiation and strategic business development

- Practical experience in agronomy and soil nutrition services

- Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM systems

Why work with CBH?

Work with meaning and being part of something bigger

Play a critical role in moving WA’s grain from paddocks to ports, and on to countries all around the world. With an advanced logistics network and grain trading on a global level, we provide growers with first-class representation in the world’s food supply chain.

We know you have family and a life outside of work and we know this is important. We provide the flexibility and work‑life balance that allows you to be there for the moments that matter.
