About the role

The Events and Administration Officer plays a vital role in creating, planning, and delivering outstanding school events that build strong community connections and strengthen the public profile of Heritage Christian School.

This role is primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth and professional coordination of all events on the school calendar, from whole-school celebrations and open days to parent information evenings and community gatherings, ensuring each is delivered with excellence, efficiency, and attention to detail.

Alongside events, the role contributes to the broader administrative needs of the school by supporting key communications and overseeing several parent-facing platforms, helping ensure families experience clear, consistent, and high-quality interactions with the school.

This full-time position is expected to start as soon as possible.

Key focus areas

- Lead the planning and smooth delivery of the school’s major events, including celebrations, open days, information evenings, and community gatherings
- Liaise with external vendors, staff, and families to ensure every event runs with excellence and attention to detail
- Support the school’s broader administrative efforts through high-quality communications, newsletters, and calendar coordination
- Take responsibility for several key parent-facing platforms (excursion management, bus service, lunch service, and parent app), ensuring families experience clear, professional communication and smooth processes
