Your opportunity

As our Team Coordinator you’ll be reporting to the Chief Digital & Transformation Officer and will be responsible for providing high quality executive support and team coordination. This role combines executive assistance with governance coordination and social engagement responsibilities, helping to bring the Digital and Transformation team together, maintain compliance frameworks and keep operations running seamlessly. You will play a key role in coordinating IT-related projects, overseeing governance processes, supporting day‑to‑day operations, and fostering collaboration across the Digital and Transformation team. Working side by side with people who go the extra mile, you’ll also love the feeling of helping children and adults who need us. Here’s how you’ll do it:

- Coordinate and facilitate IT‑related projects, including monitoring progress, tracking deadlines and ensuring deliverables are met.

- Oversee governance processes across Digital and Transformation programs, ensuring compliance and assurance.

- Support the team in day‑to‑day operations including administrative needs, budget management, procurement, and vendor relationship management.

- Collaborate with cross functional teams to create an engaging culture, facilitate effective communication and information sharing.

- Provide accurate and timely support to the executive including the management of incoming telephone calls, diaries, meetings, travel bookings, expense claims and other administrative activities.

- Provide support and organise events for the executive as required.

- Support the regular flow of information across other EAs within the SMT and internal and external stakeholders.

- Comply with all Hearing Australia WHS policies and procedures. This includes passing and remaining up to date with all required training necessary to carry out your role.

What you’ll bring

We believe the successful candidate will show an understanding of quality, compliance and ethical requirements of working with participant data. You’ll bring:

- 3+ years of professional administrative assistance experience in an office setting required, with exposure to IT Teams or technology‑driven environments highly desirable.

- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook (including calendar management) required.

- An ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.

- A positive, enthusiastic and proactive approach with a strong sense of initiative.

- Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills required.

- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

- Strong teamwork skills required.

- Ability to work independently with little supervision required.

- Demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness.
