Position Profile We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Staff Development Nurse for a role in CAHS Nursing Education at Perth Children’s Hospital. In collaboration with Nurse Coordinator, CAHS Nursing Education, the Staff Development Nurse is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the knowledge and skills of nursing staff at Perth Children’s Hospital. The successful applicant will also be responsible for planning and implementation of specific education and training programs; and the provision of support for nursing staff, including orientation, preceptorship and core training requirements. The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is the leading service provider for paediatric healthcare in Western Australia, the State’s only dedicated health service for infants, children and young people. CAHS comprises four service areas: Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH).
