This organisation is a reputable manufacturing company operating in Australia for over 20 years. They are looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join their growing, collaborative team.

**Your new role**
This role takes ownership of all things Accounts Receivable from new accounts to cash flow impact.

Some of your duties will include:

- Processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording Accounts Receivable data
- Creation of new accounts
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Maintain strong customer relations to facilitate payment of invoices due

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you will need:

- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
- Knowledge of SAP Business One (preferred), or experience & adaptability with other ERP software systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Continuous improvement mindset and ability to add value to projects
- Can-do attitude and team player
