The Caulfield Glasshouse is one of the best original pubs in Melbourne. With all day dining and plenty of entertainment available it is the perfect location for a day out with friends, to celebrate a special event, or a casual dinner. The Glasshouse has been awarded Best Sports Bar - Metropolitan at the 2025 AHA Awards.

Pegasus Leisure Group (PLG) operates as part of The Melbourne Racing Club (MRC) and is recognised as a winner of The Australian Business Awards for Employer of Choice (2022, 2023 & 2024).

What will my duties include?

- Prepare and cook menu as per cooking guidelines and set standards.
- Support senior chefs and kitchen staff with various tasks, including food assembly and plating.
- Ensure food safety procedures are followed.
- Maintain control and leadership in the kitchen during service times in allocated section.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workstation.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and assist with lifting boxes, kegs or stock, standing for long periods, and using stairs as needed.

What we are looking for

- Hold a Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
- Food Handlers Certificate.
- Experience working in a pub/bistro fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of fundamental cooking methods and recipe execution.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
