Located on the Mornington Peninsula, Steeples is a dining and entertainment complex situated next to the Mornington Racecourse. Featuring modern facilities including a family friendly bistro, a designated kids play area and an alfresco deck; there are dining experiences for all to enjoy. Along with an extensive modern menu with daily specials, Steeples caters to both children and adults alike. Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook menu as per cooking guidelines and set standards.
- Support senior chefs and kitchen staff with various tasks, including food assembly and plating.
- Ensure food and safety procedures are being followed.
- Maintain control and leadership in the kitchen during service times in allocated section.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workstation.

The role you are applying for may be quite fast-paced and require you to complete tasks including but not limited to lifting boxes, kegs or stock, standing for long periods of time, and utilising stairs.

Requirements:

- Hold a Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Food Handlers Certificate.
- Experience working in a pub/bistro fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of fundamental cooking methods and recipe execution.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Full working rights in Australia.
