About the Role
As a Scrum Master, you’ll guide two cross-functional squads to deliver customer-focused outcomes using Suncorp’s Momentum delivery model. You’ll embed agile practices, remove delivery roadblocks, and foster continuous improvement across technology and business teams.
What You’ll Do
- Support backlog management and optimise squad delivery through agile practices and governance
- Facilitate planning, sequencing, and prioritisation of work to ensure timely outcomes
- Monitor squad performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Coach teams to adopt Momentum mindsets and delivery processes
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and stakeholders to manage dependencies and align goals
- Maintain squad-level reporting and RAID management to ensure transparency and compliance
What You’ll Bring
- Scrum Master certification (CSM) and project management accreditation (e.g. PMP, Prince2, Agile)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management or Scrum Master roles
- Proven ability to lead dispersed or offshore teams in technology delivery
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across all levels, including executive
- Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and problem‑solving capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive strategic outcomes in a collaborative environment
- Preference for candidates with previous Insurance/Claims experience
