Position Title Health Information Systems Support Officer Location Perth Children's Hospital, QEII Campus, Nedlands Unit/Division Child and Adolescent Health Service > Health Information and Administrative Services Work Type Casual, Fixed Term - Full Time, Fixed Term - Part Time, Permanent - Full Time, Permanent - Part Time Position Profile We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our Health Information & Administrative Services team at Perth Children's Hospital. You will provide ongoing support and training for Child and Adolescent Health Service staff for the Patient Administration System (PAS) and other information systems utilised throughout the health service which the Health Information & Administrative Services (HIAS) is responsible for. Responsibilities - Conduct training for healthservice staff in the use of the patient administration system and other health service systems. - Provide a system management service relating to the reporting of, and resolution of, problems with hardware and software. - Assist in the development of documentation including training manuals and task procedures for information systems in conjunction with the Administrator Health Information Systems. Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) CAHS is proud to be the leading service provider for paediatric healthcare in Western Australia, as the State’s only dedicated health service for infants, children and young people. CAHS is made up of four service areas: Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH). Consisting of over 6,500 employees, our services are delivered at PCH and King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH), as well as across a network of more than 160 community clinics across the metropolitan area. Referees may be contacted to provide an employment reference. Open‑ended Recruitment Pool The panel will monitor the recruitment pool for applications and will assess on a regular basis. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 30 November 2026.
