We are looking for a motivated Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic, multi-skilled team at the Essilor Technology Centre in Silverwater. In this role, you will be a key part of our operations team, supporting the efficient production and delivery of high-quality, cost-effective products to consumers and the marketplace. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory data, coordinating supplier deliveries to meet operational requirements, and supporting procurement activities, including placing and tracking purchase orders.

Additionally, you will monitor supplier performance and contribute to initiatives that optimise costs and drive operational excellence. This is a great opportunity to make a tangible impact within a collaborative and forward‑thinking team.

Your responsibilities

- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to coordinate inbound shipments, resolve discrepancies, and ensure the timely receipt of goods.

- Support procurement cost‑control initiatives through supplier benchmarking, performance analysis, and negotiation assistance.

- Conduct monthly stock reconciliations and variance analyses to maintain data accuracy across systems.

- Utilise Excel and in‑house software to monitor inventory levels and ensure targets and KPIs are consistently met.

- Assist with warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and order picking, to ensure efficient and accurate product handling.

About you

- Previous experience in a similar role within logistics, dispatch, or warehouse operations is preferred.

- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.

- Proficient in Excel with the ability to analyse data for accurate stock monitoring and reporting.

- Plan, coordinate, and process purchase orders while ensuring timely follow‑up and completion.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure product quality and on‑time delivery.
