Wembley Golf Course

Wembley Golf Course is a public golf facility owned and operated by the Town of Cambridge located 10kms from the CBD and 2 kms from City Beach in Perth, WA. The facility encompasses 36 holes, an 80 Bay two storey (automated) day/nightdriving range including Trackman Range touchscreens on each bay, 18-holemini golf course, short game and coaching areas, WA’s onlyPGA Learning and Performance Centre and one of Australia’s biggestpro shops . With over 195,000 rounds per year and over 800,000 visitors to the facility per year Wembley Golf Course is arguably the busiest golf facility in Australia.

The Role

Exciting opportunity to join the Wembley Golf Course as a Junior Assistant in the Outside Services.

This role is ideally suited for students, Junior Assistants support the Mini-Golf, Buggy Shed and Driving Range operations during busy periods. As an entry-level position, no previous experience in the golf industry is necessary; however a knowledge of and enthusiasm for the game of golf will be highly regarded.

Selection Criteria

- Sound communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills;

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, organisation, time management, planning, and problem solving skills

- Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the game of golf is highly desirable

- Previous experience in a customer service environment is desirable

- Knowledge of golfing equipment including electric golf carts would be an advantage

- First Aid training or qualifications (desirable)

Right to work in Australia (birth certificate, current passport or current visa)

National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months)

*Employees under the age of 20 years shall be paid a percentage of the minimum rate of Grade 1, in accordance with the Town of Cambridge Employee’s Collective Agreement 2025.
