Business Support Officer

As an Administration Officer, you will be providing essential support across a range of administrative and regulatory services. Your focus will be on maintaining a high standard of data integrity and ensuring strict adherence to all relevant policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions, handling inquiries professionally and resolving issues efficiently.
- Perform a wide variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, records management, scheduling, document preparation, and correspondence.
- Ensure all processes, documentation, and activities meet regulatory and compliance standards, particularly in a government context.
- Maintain and update internal computer systems and databases with accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administration or customer service role, ideally within a government or public sector environment.
- Exceptional skills in customer service and communication.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience quickly learning and navigating computer systems.
- Strong understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, compliance, regulatory frameworks, and record-keeping requirements.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Valid National Police Clearance required.
- Year 12 (or equivalent)
