Shapethe Future of Culture and Engagement at Scope We’re looking for a Manager, Engagement & Culture to help bring Scope’s transformation agenda to life — building connection, inclusion and purpose for our people across Australia.
As part of our Transformation Office, you’ll design and deliver Scope’s transformation narrative and campaign, initiatives that strengthen our culture, uplift engagement, and inspire collaboration. You’ll coach leaders, deliver storytelling, recognition and culture campaigns that connect people to purpose, and use insights and data to shape experiences that help every person at Scope belong and thrive.
This role suits a strategic and creative professional with experience leading engagement and culture programs, ideally in large, people-centred or not-for-profit organisations.
The Opportunity
As Manager, Engagement & Culture, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our people experience Scope’s transformation. Reporting to the Head of People Engagement, this role will lead initiatives that strengthen culture, connection, and engagement across the organisation.
You’ll work closely with leaders and teams to design and deliver programs that foster collaboration, inclusion, and participation. Drawing on insights and data, you’ll help define and embed a shared narrative of transformation — one that inspires our people and celebrates our impact.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and delivery of Scope’s transformation narrative and campaign, and engagement and culture initiatives aligned with our transformation strategy.
- Coach and guide leaders to understand, assess, and shape culture and engagement within their teams.
- Build and deliver storytelling, recognition and culture campaigns that connect people to Scope’s purpose.
- Design and analyse engagement and culture surveys, translating insights into practical, measurable actions.
- Use data and evidence to continuously improve culture initiatives and ensure alignment with organisational priorities.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure engagement activities support client outcomes, quality, and sustainability.
- Role model change leadership, inclusion, and genuine care — helping others understand and adapt to change.
About You
You’re a passionate and strategic leader who brings creativity and rigour to culture and engagement. You understand how to inspire people through change, and how to use data and storytelling to bring culture to life.
You’ll also have:
- Demonstrated experience in storytelling and designing transformation campaigns, leading engagement and culture programs in large, complex organisations.
- Experience in culture and engagement survey design, analysis and insights generation.
- A human-centred, agile approach to leading engagement in transformation.
- Strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
- Tertiary qualifications in organisation development, psychology, behavioural science, marketing or communications.
- Experience in human services organisations.
