About the Role...
As the Program Coordinator, you will work closely with the Aquatic Manager to ensure the smooth daily operations of our swim school and aquatic programs. You’ll play a key role in leading staff, maintaining high standards of safety and customer service, and helping grow a positive and progressive aquatic culture.
Key Responsibilities...
- Support the day-to-day operations of all aquatic programs and services
- Assist with staff supervision, rostering, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, policies, and procedures
- Contribute to staff training, mentoring, and professional development
- Liaise with parents, customers, and stakeholders to resolve issues and provide support
- Assist with event planning, program development, and business growth initiatives
- Act as a leader on-deck, setting a positive and professional example
About You...
- A qualified and experienced swim instructor and aquatic team leader
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
- Demonstrated understanding of aquatic safety standards and best practices
- High level of initiative and problem-solving ability
- Approachable, professional, and team-oriented
Essential Qualifications
- Current AUSTSWIM, RLS or Swim Australia Teacher Certification
- Current CPR certificate
- Working with Children Check
- Pool Lifeguard Certification (preferred but not essential)
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role in an aquatic or recreation setting
