What you’ll do
As a Volunteer Programs Coordinator, you’ll:
- Coordinate the recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing support of volunteers in line with genU’s Volunteer Engagement Framework.
- Match volunteers to roles that suit their skills, interests, and goals.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and community partners to grow and promote volunteering opportunities.
- Monitor and report on program performance, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
- Celebrate and recognise volunteers for the amazing work they do
What you’ll bring
As a Volunteer Programs Coordinator you’ll bring:
- Great people skills – you can engage, motivate, and support a diverse range of volunteers.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a genuine passion for community and inclusion.
- Experience or qualifications in human resources, allied health, social sciences, or a related field.
- Knowledge of the Australian National Standards for Volunteer Involvement.
