Reporting to the State Manager – VIC/TAS, the Sales Manager - Commercial is responsible for providing guidance and support to the commercial sales team through strategic planning and direction. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

- Monitoring daily operations of the commercial sales team, including their performance to meet budget requirements and initiating corrective actions where necessary.
- Actively participating in major dealings with Contractors and Consulting engineers, assisting Commercial Account Managers.
- Providing constant reporting on all planned sales programs and objectives throughout the year.
- Conducting monthly analysis on territory budgets, strategic objectives, activity, competition, and projects.
- Providing ongoing support to coach and mentor the Commercial Account Managers & Technical Sales Support team to ensure continual success for the employee and business.

About You

- A minimum of 5 years of experience within the HVAC industry overseeing the commercial sales environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and project management skills in a similar position.
- The ability to build rapport and relationships with your team and clients.
- An understanding of how to handle management-level discussions both internally and externally.
- A sales result-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
- A strong desire to work with a global leader and a high level of belief in Daikin's values and philosophies.
