Practice Manager – Pilbara, WA

Full-time | $128,000 – $150,000 + allowances + 12% super | Housing & salary packaging available

Are you an experienced Practice Manager looking for a rewarding role in a leading Aboriginal Community-Controlled Health Organisation in the Pilbara region?

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families while leading a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

The Opportunity offers the chance to join a purpose-built, fully accredited primary healthcare service that delivers holistic, culturally safe care to over 3,000 community members each year.

You’ll work closely with the Senior Medical Officer and Clinical Manager, providing operational and administrative leadership to ensure the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently.

Permanent full-time role, with the option of a 12-month fixed-term contract for those relocating temporarily.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring a high standard of patient service and workflow efficiency
- Lead and support a dedicated reception and administration team
- Manage patient journey services and offsite healthcare transport coordination
- Optimise Medicare, Practice Incentive Payments (PIP) and other funding opportunities
- Coordinate visiting health services and clinical schedules
- Oversee data governance within Communicare, including audits, compliance, and data integrity
- Collaborate with senior leadership to improve systems, processes, and reporting outcomes
- Promote a culturally safe, welcoming, and community-focused environment

About You

- Proven experience in Practice Management or Health Service Administration
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- High-level understanding of Medicare claiming, PIP, and clinic operations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable leading within a multidisciplinary, cross-cultural team
- Relevant qualifications (minimum Certificate IV or equivalent experience)
- Current Driver’s Licence and full Australian working rights
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
