About The Roles:
Housing Services Team Leader (Karratha, South Hedland and Newman)
This role manages the coordination and delivery of housing services through supervision and leadership of its team members within the region. In this role you will:
- Provide feedback, coaching and proactive support to team members in their development and career growth opportunities, while fostering a safe working environment and safe work practices.
- Monitor and review Key Performance Indicators and team outcomes with the responsibility to initiate and implement appropriate strategies to address any issues proactively.
- Assist the Manager Housing Services/Area Manager to implement, maintain and enhance the Customer Service Charter within the region.
Senior Case Manager
This position investigates complex complaints made against Public Housing Tenants and takes action to manage disruptive behaviour in accordance with departmental policy. The role also supervises the activities of Case Managers. In this role you also will:
- Conduct interviews, gathers, records and assesses evidence to establish the facts of a complaint, to make findings and take action in accordance with policy.
- Maintains contact with tenants, effectively communicating the impact upon the tenancy of relevant policies, providing accurate and timely advice to tenants and complainants about legal processes, policy and outcomes, while adhering to privacy requirements.
Administration Manager
This position is responsible for the Office Management function for the region. The role provides advice and administrative assistance to the Regional Manager and staff within the region across all areas of responsibility. This includes supervising and prioritising the work of staff and undertaking projects as required. Additional duties but not limited will include:
- Manages contracts concerning the cleaning, maintenance and conditioning of regional offices, the deployment and maintenance of regional vehicle fleet, contract of office equipment, travel arrangements including booking flights, accommodation, car rental, and coordinating payments.
- Manages the payment of all regional accounts and ensures payments are processed within time controls and budget and ensures that value for money reporting is carried out, and regional financial reporting is provided within agreed timeframes to support the Departmental whole of Government reporting.
Regional Asset Manager
The position is responsible for managing relationships with contractors and consultants to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget for building maintenance, building improvements and minor new construction works.
The role is accountable for the completion of contract development and administration tasks in support of project work, and for the compliance with legislative and policy requirements.
Additionally, the role involves conducting building assessments, managing technical investigations and preparing technical reports.
