The Opportunity

Pilbara Quarries is seeking an articulate and capable Quarry Manager to effectively lead operations and compliance at our sites in Northwest WA. As part of our Quarry Management team, you will report directly to the company Director, with a strong focus on safety, quality control, and operational compliance. Your role will involve developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, by utilising you experience and knowledge to ensure the operational team can succeed.

Your days will involve:

· Safety:  lead and drive safety protocols and procedures to achieve compliance-based outcomes.

· Operational:  Effectively manage daily operations, ensuring production priorities align with quality standards, to meet our demand forecast.

· People:  Lead and mentor your coworkers and contractors with hands-on management by providing effective solutions to set your team up to succeed.

· Regulatory Compliance:  Ensure the site adheres to regulatory requirements by actively consulting with internal and external stake holder to enable effective and measurable improvements in our systems and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance.

What are we looking for?

· Extensive experience in Quarrying Operations or Mining with a strong track record of leadership.

· Strong production and technical ability, whilst maintaining compliance and quality assurance.

· Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to proactively identify, manage, and resolve issues as they arise.

· Experience in controlling expenditure and costs.

· Relevant Quarry management qualifications.

This role is ideal for a proactive leader with innovative thinking and the ability to mentor and motivate a dedicated team, including Operators, Maintainers and a Quarry Supervisors.
