Overview
As an Account Manager within our Asphalt business, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers in the Sydney region. You will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and the successful delivery of Boral’s asphalt products and services to our customers within the Metro area.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers in the Sydney Metro.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth across the region.
- Provide expert advice on our range of asphalt products and services, ensuring the right solutions for our customers.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the efficient delivery of asphalt to customers.
- Monitor and analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to develop effective strategies.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to customers.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and problem-solving.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the construction, asphalt, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of the asphalt industry and its products is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work autonomously.
- A full driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Sydney and Greater Sydney region.
- A commitment to safety and environmental standards.

Boral Asphalt supplies high quality surfacing solutions for a wide range of Australian road and construction projects - from local streets to highly complex infrastructure including freeways, highways and airport runways. The Boral Asphalt business includes asphalt manufacturing sites, ‘spray seal’ depots, and an asphalt contracting service.
