Our client is a specialist supplier of tensile architectural solutions, delivering structural cables, rods, and tensioned mesh systems, as well as consulting services to the commercial specification market. Operating for almost a decade and with a growing global presence, they provide a full turn-key service from initial design concepts through to installation, partnering with leading architects, engineers, and contractors to bring complex designs to life.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Specification Manager will play a key role in driving project opportunities and building strong relationships within the architectural community. Responsibilities include:

- Proactively engaging with Tier 1 & 2 architectural firms to present solutions and generate new project opportunities

- Developing and maintaining long-term client relationships within the commercial specification space

- Managing the full project cycle from initial enquiry through to handover with head contractors/builders.

- Identifying and pursuing opportunities with both new and existing clients

- Working closely with architects during the concept stage to provide tailored and innovative design solutions

- Preparing project estimates and tracking project progress through detailed status reporting

- Staying ahead of market trends and providing insights back to the business

About You

We/'re seeking a motivated and commercially astute professional who brings:

- A proven track record in specification sales within construction or architectural solutions

- Strong understanding of the commercial construction process

- An established network of architectural contacts within the Sydney market

- Demonstrated success in managing a structured sales process and influencing stakeholders

- Technical aptitude with the ability to grasp new products, applications, and design concepts

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

- An innovative mindset with the drive to deliver unique outcomes for clients

- High levels of energy, enthusiasm, and a positive, client-focused attitude

The Offer

The successful applicant will receive an attractive salary package commensurate with experience, with a base salary of $120K - $160K plus Superannuation, $20K Car Allowance and a lucrative incentive structure, as well as the opportunity to establish yourself with an exciting and innovative Australian growth organisation
