Your new role
This exciting 12-month opportunity is responsible for delivering high quality Colleague & Culture (C&C) support to the business stakeholders and the Colleague Partnering team.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high quality services to Colleagues and Culture (C&C) stakeholders on issues relating to C&C management, policies, and practices and will be critical in implementing continuous improvement to C&C processes and project manage the development and delivery of key initiatives.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide effective leadership support, guidance and coaching in all aspects of the partnering role including operating model alignment, people leader upskilling, performance management, consequence management and the annual colleague cycle (remuneration review, moderation, succession and talent planning etc).
- Empower stakeholders to adopt a strategic mindset in managing colleagues by serving as a key supporter focused on supporting the rollout of strategic workforce planning, and related initiatives.
- Provide a high level of operational support and display an ability to influence business outcomes that align with the Fund’s 2035 Strategy.
- Take on a lead role in guiding C&C Advisers in leading key initiatives, skill uplift and training/onboarding new team members.
- Use initiative and judgement to ensure matters are dealt with expeditiously and appropriately, identifying those which should be referred or known to others, minimising interruptions to the team.
- Partner with the Lead Colleague Partners in preparing reporting for the relevant Groups across the Fund as required.
- Managing key cyclical reporting outputs related to the employee lifecycle and to help business make informed decisions.
What you’ll need:
- Tertiary qualification in human resource management or related discipline.
- Between 6-8+ years’ experience as a human resources practitioner.
- Strong IT acumen, including use of Microsoft Office suite and experience using an HRIS tool.
- Effective interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly developed organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders and building strong relationships (both internally and external to the Fund).
- Well-developed sense of initiative and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Proven ability to deal with confidential matters.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with a continuous improvement motivation and service mindset.
- A person-centric mindset with a focus on empathy and inclusion.
