Job Description

The successful candidate will deliver exceptional presentation of the gardens, wedding sites, and outdoor spaces across the Hotel, and perform grounds maintenance exclusive of vines and viticulture.

- Deliver exceptional presentation of the gardens, wedding sites, and outdoor spaces across the Hotel
- Grounds maintenance exclusive of vines and viticulture
- Hands-on role with a solid understanding of managing a large garden property
- Knowledge of modern techniques in lawn mowing and edging, pruning trees and shrubs, clipping of topiary, fertilizing, planting, turfing, pest and disease control
- Make recommendations on the Hotel grounds and assist with the long-term planning and development of the complex

Requirements

- Success in a similar role and exposure to a large-scale garden operation
- An acute eye for detail and development of solutions to ensure a high standard is maintained
- A good working knowledge of various types of associated equipment
- Ability to work under pressure in a varied, fast-paced environment, by taking initiative and working collaboratively
- Positive mindset and a can-do attitude
