About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Medical Officer (SMO) to join a friendly and supportive team at a GP clinic and small public hospital in Millmerran, Queensland.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a flexible start date, ideal for a doctor seeking a varied role encompassing primary care, emergency response, and inpatient services. The successful candidate will work across the local health service, providing comprehensive care to the community while supporting rural health initiatives.

You’ll enjoy the balance of hands‑on clinical practice, autonomy, and lifestyle flexibility in a welcoming regional setting.

About You

- Relevant tertiary qualification and current registration
- Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM (or working towards)
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- A commitment to providing compassionate, patient‑centred care
- Australian Permanent Residency or Australian or New Zealand citizenship required
