Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven E-Commerce Manager to lead and grow our online retail business. Reporting to the Head of Retail, you will be responsible for developing and executing a robust e-commerce strategy to enhance customer experience, drive revenue growth, and maintain operational excellence across all digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day management of the company's e-commerce platform.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow online sales, improve conversion rates, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Manage and optimise the online product catalogue including product listings, descriptions, pricing, and images.
- Analyse sales data, customer behaviour, and website performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure a seamless and engaging customer journey across all digital touchpoints.
- Work closely with marketing to support digital campaigns, promotions, and seasonal initiatives.
- Utilise analytics tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights to inform strategy and track performance.
- Ensure e-commerce operations align with overall business objectives and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to stay up to date with new technologies and best practices.

Person Specification:

Essential:

- Proven experience in a similar e-commerce management role.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team.
- In-depth understanding of current e-commerce platforms, technologies, and digital tools.
- Proficient in Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, PPC, Google Ads, and Google Shopping.
- Demonstrable experience in analysing data to make informed, strategic decisions.
- Excellent knowledge of digital marketing channels and social media platforms.
- Strong IT proficiency and analytical mindset.
- Commercial awareness with a strong results and performance focus.
- Ability to adapt to change and drive innovation in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

- Experience working within the agricultural sector.
- Knowledge of agricultural products and customer demographics.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce (or similar).
