Senior Information and Business Systems Administration Officer
Full-time Temporary with a Possibility of Permanency

Details: ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS) is seeking applications from passionate and motivated individuals to fill the position of Senior Information and Business Systems Administration Officer, within the Security and Business Solutions (ISBS) unit.

As the Senior Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the administration and enhancement of ACTCS business systems, including SharePoint, internal and external websites, and other digital platforms. You will provide expert advice and support to operational areas, contribute to ICT project documentation and testing, and help maintain information security standards across the organisation.

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong technical knowledge in business systems and SharePoint administration, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and a proactive approach to innovation and continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for preparing system documentation, supporting compliance activities, and representing ACTCS in ACT Government forums.

Eligibility/Other requirements:

- Qualifications or demonstrated experience in SharePoint Administration is highly desirable.
- Qualifications or demonstrated experience in the use of MS Office suite, MS Visio and Project advanced level is highly desirable.
- The successful candidate may be required to undergo a criminal record check.
- To be eligible for permanent or temporary employment within the ACT Public Service (ACTPS) you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident or hold a valid work visa.
- If an officer no longer holds a visa that permits them to work in Australia, their employment with the ACT Public Service (ACTPS) will be terminated.

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 18 th October 2026 with the possibility of permanency. An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
