Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact for those we serve? We’re offering a 12-month max term fulltime opportunity within our NSW Sales and Admissions team, where the customer is truly at the heart of everything we do.
About the Role
The primary focus of this role is achieving maximum occupancy and Refundable Accommodation Deposits (RAD) targets, Supported Ratio, Services and options whilst ensuring the effective execution of appropriate sales and admission functions across BaptistCare Homes NSW ACT. You will lead the helpful conversation providing clarity to our customers and their families on choosing our residential aged care home, understanding the costs and fees, and simplifying the processes in relation to moving into an aged care home. This position also maintains key customer relationships and network widely with key referrers, both public and private Hospitals, Local and Regional Health Districts and Medical Services. This may role involve travel across homes.

About the Team
We aim to deliver positive impact for all our BaptistCare residents. We are trusted by the organisation to responsibly manage and monitor residential subsidies and funding to drive positive outcomes in the residential stream which we operate. The team provides access to funding expertise in the field of ACFI and AN ACC, Services Plus, including management of the occupancy and operational plans, strategies, and practices that are designed for increasing revenue. The Team continues to support a fair, secure, and efficient manner of systems and process that creates the highest possible level of revenues that support quality residential care services
About You
- Tertiary qualifications or Higher Education
- Proven experience in a Sales [and/or] Customer Service position, particularly aged care with a strong background in Aged Care Client Liaison and Additional Services
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Act and relevant legislation
- Have proven experience and high-level capability in the use of health care related technology solutions such as PeoplePoint, Nera, Proda, My Aged Care Provider Portal and CRM (Vision 5)
- Demonstrated experience in explaining and holding crucial conversations to customers regarding financial requirements related to entry in Aged Care
- Strong communication and engagement skill
- Excellent customer service
- A broad understanding of issues experienced by the elder community
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills, ability to prioritise and recognise milestone tasks
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets
- Demonstrated ability to network and use of referral networks within community and region
- Sound experience with Word, Excel and Outlook and CRM database
- A valid Driver’s Licence
