**What Does Success Look Like in This Role?**

Success in this role is helping to ensure accurate and timely coverage of Transactional team tasks, as well as working with the team to implement improvements to current processes and procedures to improve the efficiency of current processes. Strong excel skills are important to the role, which will provide the employee the foundation to assist and guide others in the transactional team to efficient use of excel to achieve desired outcomes. The role is very much hands on and involves working closely with the rest of the Group’s Finance team to assist in other general finance and transactional duties and processes as and when required including providing cover for staff leave and absences.

**Day to Day You Will be Responsible for**:

- Reporting to our Procurement and Transactional Accounting Manager, this role is responsible for providing a wide variety of assistance to the Transactional team. This includes areas such as:

- Banking support and payment allocation
- Collections task including administering our auctions process and bad debt write off
- Invoicing and accounts receivable
- Processing of customer refunds
- Corporate Account administration support
- Accounts payable support.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- An interest in finance and the workings of a larger finance team.
- Strong knowledge of general office administrative procedures.
- Excellent technology skills and highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience working in a KPI driven environment.
- Gained or working towards an appropriate degree and professional qualifications would be preferred.
- High knowledge of office administrative procedures and experience.
- A detailed understanding of Technology One software (Ci anywhere) or other large ERP will be highly regarded.
- High level of knowledge in Excel, including ability to analyse and consolidated different data sets and automate reconciliation processes.
- Reliability, initiative, self-motivation and be driven to succeed without supervision.
- A proactive approach and outlook.
- The drive to always looking for new/improved ways to do business.
- A willingness and ability to adapt to change.
- A cohesive work style with strong relational skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders
