About the Role

Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd is seeking a skilled Financial Transaction Manager to join their team at their head office in Archerfield, Brisbane.

This permanent, Monday to Friday role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals to contribute to the company's financial operations and drive business success.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking large-scale statement reconciliation to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Facilitating the resolution of complex invoices with internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and communication
  • Maintaining all Caterpillar vendor accounts by processing and settling documents in a timely manner, ensuring seamless transactions
  • Downloading monthly statements and preparing payment schedules to optimize cash flow management
  • Accessing and obtaining documents through various portals as required, staying up-to-date with the latest systems and technologies
  • Serving as the central point of contact between DXC, EFTsure, Concur, the business, and Caterpillar, providing expert guidance and support
  • Monitoring accounts payable systems, producing status reports to track trends and issues, and collaborating with the business and/or DXC to resolve them
  • Ensuring all communication and messaging to external stakeholders aligns with the company values and operational priorities
  • Assisting the business in developing, implementing, and continuously improving new processes, procedures, and workflows, driving process excellence
  • Performing ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Tax and Treasury Manager, showcasing adaptability and flexibility
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Relevant experience in a similar financial transaction management role
  • Excellent computer knowledge working within Microsoft Office, systems, and databases, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
  • Proven stakeholder engagement skills, with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy proficiency, ensuring precision in all financial transactions

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
